The Women Outstanding Achievement Award is for the person whose work this year made a real difference, whatever their job title and whatever their field.
It might be a project delivered against the odds, a milestone reached, a problem solved or a contribution others now rely on. What matters is the result, and the way they got there.
Eligibility
Open to nominees from every sector, of any size, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome. Open to women.
Judging criteria
- Entries are judged on the scale of the achievement
- The obstacles overcome
- The difference it made to others and the evidence that supports it
Qualitative criteria
- What they set out to do, and why it mattered
- What stood in the way
- How others describe their contribution
Metrics
- Measurable results of the achievement
- Who benefited, and how many
- Recognition already received
Additional criteria
- Include a short account of the achievement
- The results in figures where possible
- A word from somebody who saw it happen
